Lovely cozy cottage, perfect for a romantic escape. The beds were comfy and we enjoyed a peaceful night's sleep. Great location, within walking distance of local shops and restaurants. The cottage was spotlessly clean and well-maintained, providing a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. The nearby park and riverside path added a touch of tranquility to our stay.

The storage space in the bedroom was extremely limited, especially for longer stays. It was a bit frustrating having to live out of bags on the floor.

Great location for exploring nearby attractions. The cottage was cozy and welcoming, with extra touches like fluffy towels and a well-stocked tea and biscuit tray. The hosts were accommodating, allowing for an early arrival. Free WiFi and Sky TV were added bonuses.

Parking was a slight issue, particularly for larger vehicles. However, ample free parking was available nearby.

I recently stayed at a lovely cottage in the heart of Matlock. The location was fantastic, with easy access to shops, restaurants, and beautiful walks just steps away. The cottage itself was well-equipped and had a cosy, homely feel. I especially loved the comfortable double bed and the lovely shower in the bathroom. The owner was also great with communication and provided thoughtful touches like pumpkin carving supplies for Halloween. I had a wonderful stay and would definitely come back in the future.

Fantastic little cottage with all modern appliances and furniture. the owners have made every effort to ensure a comfortable stay. Loved the little stuffed toys in the beds that my little boy adored. the location was perfect, with plenty of walking distance and short drives to explore the area. the nearby park was a great bonus for some outdoor fun.

The early check-out time of 10:00, which felt a bit early for us. Other than that, there really was nothing to dislike about our stay.

loved our stay in this quaint cottage in Matlock. The attention to detail was incredible - from the lovely lamps and bedding to the well-equipped kitchen. The bed in the main room was absolutely amazing and the bunk beds were a hit with the kids. Christine and Brent were so helpful and made us feel at home.

I recently stayed at a charming little cottage for a short getaway. The location was perfect, right next to a beautiful park and just a minute away from a fantastic pub and a convenient petrol station with a Morrisons Daily. The cottage itself was beautifully decorated and had all the amenities you could ask for, including a functional kitchen with a washer/dryer. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the bathroom was spacious. I loved the little extras provided by the host, such as toiletries, tea bags, milk, and biscuits. The cozy log burner in the sitting room added a nice touch. With shops, bars, and restaurants right on the doorstep, this cottage was the perfect choice for exploring the town. We will definitely be back!

    Would recommend this hotel.

The cottage was in a great location, right in the heart of town. It was generously equipped with everything we needed and had a cosy and homely feel. the central heating worked quickly and there was even a log burner for extra warmth. Checking in was a breeze and the owner was extremely helpful and easy to communicate with. the double bed was super comfy and the shower was lovely. We also enjoyed the thoughtful touch of the owner providing pumpkin carving for Halloween and sweets for trick or treaters. We're already looking forward to coming back in the spring!

That the back garden was quite small. this wasn't much of an issue as there was a park just a few seconds away where our dog could go to the loo.

The cottage was absolutely fabulous! It had everything we needed and more. The comfortable bed was a dream to sleep in and the fact that everything, including a pint of milk and teabags, was supplied made us feel truly pampered. The central location was perfect, allowing us to easily explore the area. We also loved the fact that the cottage was dog-friendly, with food dishes, blankets, and towels provided for our furry friend.

The only slight downside was the small size of the back garden. However, this was not a major issue as there was a park just 30 seconds away where our dog could go for a walk.
